The following is not my column for the week, just a quick few thoughts on the awesome and great segment from World WRESTLING Entertainment involving CM Punk, John Cena and the boss Vincent Kennedy McMahon. It stole the spotlight since in my opinion the great era we all loved, the attitude era.

The contract negotiating segment imo was by far the greatest segment since the days of the attitude era. We saw the might and unbreakable Vince McMahon looking soft but yet he still looks powerful. We seen the very best of what we wanted to see in John Cena, an awesome promo with attitude…he showed respect, hustle and loyalty for his family and state. Then, we saw and heard exactly what we knew were going to hear from CM Punk, a great, great promo. What that segment showed, is that when the winner deaets his opponent at MITB, the WWE Championship means something, it now has prestige and these two men will be at war.

Punk/McMahon/Cena showed why they make the money in WWE, and why guys like Miz are not even mentioned in the segment and well away from it. That segment showed heart, truth and it was mega powerful, i really felt it, it was dramatic and excellence. I’m not sure if Punk will say or go, but Thank You CM Punk.

In fact, for the first time since i say Wrestlemania 25 that i have really been looking forward to Monday Night Raw, but ii have been for the last 3 weeks. This is because it has been unpredictable, it really has been unpredictable. For example, nobody except Vince McMahon and CM Punk knows whether Punk will be staying or going, that’s how unpredictable the show is being.

So, i’m really looking forward to MITB.
