The match that we admired at Wrestlemaina 21 last year premiered the start of its own PPV and it’s no different this year. WWE have done a great job hyping us this PPV, although much attention is focusing on Punk/McMahon/Cena storyline, both Raw and Smackdown’s Money in the Bank ladder matches line-up looks promising. I love the fact that just a match at Wrestlemaina 21, created its own PPV concept. I really enjoy their matches and we have yet to be failed in excitement by WWE. The only little downfall about this PPV is, by the end of the show, it could very well be the end of an awesome storyline. If you are thinking of streaming it, I suggest you don’t, this PPV is a no let down PPV, watch it in piece. So, let’s go through the matches.

Kelly Kelly vs. Brie Bella for the WWE Divas Championship.
Brie Bella will do everything in her power to bring the WWE Diva’s Championship to the Bella household. It all started with WWE Power to the people, when the WWE Universe chose Kelly Kelly to take on Brie Bella for the WWE Diva’s Championship. The Bella’s have been known to use an old trick WWE tend to use with twins called ‘’twin magic’’ which when the ref is looking elsewhere, one twin would move out of the ring, for the much fresher twin to step in and pick up the win, which this was used on Eve on the April 11th edition of Raw.

This isn’t going to be a great match, Kelly Kelly I’m nearly 100% sure will win this match. The storyline leading up to this hasn’t been great, I question that the Bella’s even deserve to be in that WWE locker room. Kelly Kelly isn’t the greatest of wrestlers, but at least she has worked hard to get where she is.

Big Show vs. Mark Henry.
Clash of the titans is the best way to describe this match. This all came about whne Big Show was struggling through the fierce injuries to him caused by him getting knocked down by Alberto Del Rio’s car. But despite injuries, Teddy Long still booked Big Show for a match against the world’s strongest man….Mark Henry. Big Show came running out and viciously beat the daylights out of Mark Henry. So at Capitol Punishment, Mark Henry seized revenge on the world’s largest athlete which resulted into Big Show being slammed through the announcers table. On the June 27 edition of Raw, Henry came out and broke open the cage door, then putting Big Show from the inside to outside of the ring, after being put through the cage by Henry. Five days later on SmackDown, his ire reached unspeakable levels. After being distracted by the playing of Big Show’s entrance music caused him to lose an important match with World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton, he created a panic by attacking a WWE audio technician and destroying his equipment.

These two are obviously huge men, they aren’t going to last that long battling it out, I’m guessing this match will be no more than 15 minutes. But, I am looking forward to this match, simply because WWE are pushing Henry quite good, they make his look mean, big, vicious and the way they make him look…I wouldn’t want to be the Big Show. I think in order for Henry’s push to be successful he has to win this match, as Big Show is already and established Main Eventer he can easily be built back up again, would be harder with Henry. So I’m picking Mark Henry to win this match.

Smackdown Money in the Bank ladder match.
Sheamus vs. Kane vs. Sin Cara vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Wade Barrett vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Justin Gabriel vs. Heath Slater as you may know are the contestants in this match. These matches never let us down. The Smackdown MITB ladder match last year stole the show, as it showed to be superior to Raw. The winner of this match will receive a contract to face a World Champion or WWE Champion in the upcoming year at any time they chose. The greatest thing about this match is that it’s unpredictable. Also, I love the after the match, as we are waiting for what we usually hope a rising star or person who has never been world champion to do so by cashing it in on a world champion. I think Wade Barrett or Sheamus will win this match. If I had to pick one I’m choosing Wade Barrett.

Raw Money in the Bank ladder match.
Alberto Del Rio vs. R-Truth vs. Jack Swagger vs. The Miz vs. Alex Riley vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Evan Bourne are the contestants in this match. This, like the Smackdown looks like a solid line up. With superstars like Swagger, Mysterio and Miz, it just takes that briefcase to get them back on top and be a full main eventer. For superstars like Kofi, Truth, Riley, Bourne it would get them over for at least a few months I think. For Alberto Del Rio, I think this would put him over for Wrestlemania. I’m sure this will be more exciting than last years Raw Money in the Bank ladder match. For the winner, it’s hard to decide. I’m going to go out and say that the winner of this match will be Alex Riley. You might be surprised by this but I think it will be him because I think he has the look, he can talk, not bad at wrestling/performing and WWE will have major plans for him in the future. So I’m picking Alex Riley to win this match.

Randy Orton vs. Christian for the World Hvt. Championship.
It took Christian a staggering 17 years to accomplish his first world title with WWE. Just 5 days later, he was defeated by Randy Orton and Christian’s reign went down as one of the shortest reigns in WWE history. Since his lost to Orton, Christian has been on a quest to re-capture the World title he struggled to years to get. It will be Christians third time to try and beat Orton for the title. To up his chances, Christian had his legal team to include a special clause in the contract signing. If Orton gets disqualified or a bad call by the ref, Christian will immediately become World Champion. Christian had this clause added as he felt he was being ‘’screwed’’ time and time again. At Extreme Rules, Christian’s leg was under the bottom rope as the Ref was counting 1-2-3 against Christian as Orton pinned him. Then just when he thought he thought he earned a World Title opportunity in a tag team victory on SmackDown, General Manager Theodore Long said not so fast. It wasn’t until Christian & Mark Henry beat Orton & Kane in a tag match that Christian finally earned his match with Orton.

I think this will be a pretty solid match. I have had a little angle that I haven’t shared with anyone. This is how I personally, would book things. Sheamus is about to win the MITB ladder match, Christian comes out and screws Sheamus over, then in Christian’s match vs Orton, Sheamus comes out with a steel chair and hits Christian in the head with it. Christian wins cause of the clauses from the contract signing. So that’s how I would book the results, and I am pretty sure something like this will occur. I see Christian winning it, and he will only win via DQ. So that’s the way I’m hoping/will turn out.

John Cena vs CM Punk for the WWE Championship.
From what we all know this will be Punk’s last night with WWE as he faces John Cena to try and capture the WWE Championship in his hometown of Chicago. CM Punk targets to not only win the prestige WWE title, but to bring it away and leave the WWE with it. This match is about to become possibly one of the greatest matches in the past decade. This all came about when Punk defeated his nemesis Rey Mysterio at Capitol Punishment; also he defeated Cena previously to that week so Punk demanded a WWE title opportunity. Much to the Raw GM’s expense, the GM placed Punk into a triple threat match against Del Rio and Mysterio and Punk won to become the #1 Contender. After he earned the right to be #1 Contender, Punk announced that his WWE contract will be expiring and vowed that he would leave Money in the Bank with the WWE title around his waist.

This match has me wondering/thinking and making me excited and proud to be a WWE fan. After all the years of me waiting to see powerful storylines just as this one with Punk/McMahon/Cena it has finally happened. This powerful storyline all started with CM Punk’s shoot promo which led to last Monday on Raw with probably the greatest segment in the past decade with Punk/McMahon/Cena. It was really well written, spoken and acted. Hell, it was so good that many of younger IWC members don’t know if this is real or not. That segment, could very well lead into a new era for WWE over the course of this year. I don’t think that segment could have been played out better; it really made me want to see MITB right at that moment in time. I’m not fully sure who will win this match. I think it could go out 50 different ways. I will just write up a few, I could write all day about this storyline but their just isn’t enough hours in the day. One way, Colt Cabana could come through the crowd and either distracts Cena or attack Cena for Punk to pick up the win then the winner of the Raw MITB ladder match comes out and cashes in and defeats Punk on the night. Another way, which this is the way I would love and want to happen, something like the Montréal screw job. Either Vince or the GM just ends the match and Cena retains but WWE will NEED security, I think that would be the greatest ending to the match. I can’t actually decide who will win this match.

So, I am really looking forward to WWE Money in the Bank preview. It’s going to be a kick ass show and I really doubt I will be let down or disappointed. Without the Punk/McMahon/Cena storyline, I still would enjoy this PPV, well if Punk/McMahon/Cena never happened because I just love ladder matches. Everything leading up to this PPV has been hyped up extremely well. I know I will be purchasing MITB, it’s a no let down line-up and show. You would be a fool to stream it and looking for a new one every 20 minutes, so I say pay whatever it costs in your country and watch it in good quality and not worry about bad streams or worrying if the stream will go.

I hope you enjoyed this preview of Money in the Bank and I will be doing this for every upcoming WWE PPV. Be sure to check out columns/articles on this site after the PPV and please feel free to comment. Thanks and enjoy Money in the Bank, I know I will.
