Am I the only one that doesn’t care for the PPV this Sunday? I used to love Elimination Chamber matches due to the violence, the blood, lots of bumps on the steel etc.. The first Chamber match at Survivor Series 2002 tops them all as being the greatest Elimination Chamber match of all time. It was Triple H vs. Booker T vs. RVD vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Kane. vs. Chris Jericho. There were 2 jumps from the top of the pods, 2 broken glass chambers, 3 people were bleeding, lots of bumps on the steel and Triple H even sustained a real injury. It was also the longest Chamber match in history. It lasted a total of 40 minutes and was played out fantastically. It was quite possibly the biggest star studded Chamber match of all time as well. This match seemed important, it made you want to spend your money to watch the event.

Fast forward to now, what is actually making you want to spend your hard earned money to buy this PPV? This gimmick match is losing it’s flavour, we’re in an era of the WWE where there’s no blood, little violence, so how are the Elimination Chamber matches coming up this Sunday going to be gruesome, dangerous etc..? You know…. exactly what the Elimination Chamber match portrays, or should. The answer to that question is it can’t be as long as the WWE are a family friendly product we’re not going to see matches like we did in Survivor Series 2002, so why should I spend my money? I don’t see why I should and I’m not going to.

Last years Elimination Chamber match….I can’t even remember who won it or who was in it even. The match just doesn’t interest me any more. Perhaps I’m the only one who feels this way but I don’t think I am. I’m not saying I don’t want to watch it, I’m just saying I’m not going to be spending my money on it.

I guess I want to know if whether or not if I am the only one who feels this way, what are your thoughts? Are you going to pay for this? Are you excited for it? Please let me know.
