Welcome to another edition of A RAW Opinion, tonights WWE Raw episode is being hyped HUGE as we have the return of The Ro…  Dwayne Johnson!  I’m not even going to try and be unbiased, I’m not a fan of Dwayne anymore, I think he thinks we’re dumb don’t know any better, not to mention I think he’s a hypocrite, anyway I digress, Dwayne showing up tonight on Raw has been promoted more then almost anything else, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if only the WWE spent an 8th of the time they spend hyping Dwayne, on a young talent, but I guess that’s too hard to do.

First match of the night is CM Punk VS Daniel Bryan.  CM Punk in the ring first, Chris Jericho comes out and goes to the ring, Jericho said he liked Punk and respects his ability, but he’s not as good as Jericho.  GREAT promo by these two, hyping up WrestleMania amazingly, both men ripping on each other.  Daniel Bryan finally came to the ring for the match, he attacked Punk as Punk was busy with John Laurinaitis.  Too many commercials already, two commercials in a span of 5 minutes or so.  I didn’t like how the match ended, Otunga got on the apron, Santino took him out, Teddy Long, Laurinaitis, Santino and Otunga all yelled at each other, Daniel Bryan went to leave and Sheamus threw him in the ring, Punk hit the GTS but Laurinaitis called for the bell, I guess it was a DQ?  Punk was going to the back when Jericho attacked him from behind.  With everything going on at once, I usually refer to this as “Vince Russo school of booking”

Pretty good video montage about HHH/Taker at WrestleMania, a bunch of the wrestlers were talking about it, I wasn’t really a big fan of having the guys speak about it to hype it up, but it was a good segment nonetheless.

Kelly Kelly VS Nikki Bella up next.  Kelly gets the win in a short match, typical Raw divas match.

Dwayne Johnson hype video before and after commercial, enough already.

John Cena comes out to the ring for his match with Miz.  Miz came out with a microphone, angry he isn’t being included at WrestleMania.  Cena makes Miz tap out with the STF, pretty decent match.

Tag Team Title match up next.  R Truth and Kofi Kingston VS Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger VS Epico & Primo.  Epico and Primo win in a really good match, afterward Kane came down and beat down everyone.

John Laurinaitis is talking with Otunga, Teddy interrupts them, pointless segment.  Teddy said rumor is John won’t be running Raw next week, John said something about Long being fired, Teddy called him a horses ass and left.

Eve comes out to the ring to talk.  Pretty damn good promo, she’s so much better as a heel then as a face, not to mention, for some reason she looks so much hotter as a heel.

Kelly confronts Eve backstage about her attitude, Eve just laughs at her and walks off.

Tag Team match up next between Big Show & Sheamus VS Mark Henry & Cody Rhodes, yay…  Cody provoked Show with a video showing him being beaten up by Floyd Mayweather, match gets under way, Cody had Big show’s attention the entire time, Sheamus tagged himself in and hit a Brogue Kick on Henry for the win.  Very pointless match.

Video shown from  last week, showing Cenas promo absolutely roasting Dwayne.

Dwayne Johnson comes out from the back toward the ring while all the fans do the “cool thing” and cheer like crazy, Dwayne says the whole “Finally” shtick, he goes on to kiss the fans ass saying if it wasn’t for the WWE or the fans, he wouldn’t be where he is now.  This promo really wasn’t good, at all, Rock had crowd reaction big time, but he just rambled on and on about nothing really.  Cena finally came out, and I think owned Dwayne big time, John left and Dwayne went back to rambling about Cena.  To steal a line from R Truth, Dwayne got GOT!  Oh and Golden boy Dwayne Johnson, had a cheat sheet written on his wrist, which Cena called him out on.  Dwayne never looked too comfortable afterward, great job by Cena putting him in his place yet another week, I can’t wait until WrestleMania to see what happens. (Hopefully a John Cena victory) Damn I hate rooting for Cena but this is one time I really have too.

I thought this show was very good.  Punk and Jerichos back and forth was GREAT!  John Cena putting Dwayne in his place was definitely the highlight of the show for me, Punk and Jericho a very close second.  I’m giving this weeks episode a 4/5 for those two parts alone, those segments really made Raw great tonight, and I can’t wait to see what comes up next week, great job hyping WrestleMania, and I don’t know what’s up with Dwayne, but he better step his game up in the promo department, because Cena is aiming for the jugular and making him look BAD.

That’s all for this week, I hope you enjoyed reading the column, let me know what you thought about the show and the column in the comments, thanks for reading.
