WWE Extreme Rules is this Sunday, live from Chicago, Illinois. This is a Pay-Per-View where every match on the card is a gimmick match. The card is strong enough, although it may be slightly predictable as who the winners will be, I am expecting a good show. After all, that’s what I want as a fan. We have the tremendous return of former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar, taking on John Cena. The personal feud between CM Punk and Chris Jericho continues and will most probably end this Sunday, I have already covered a preview for that. The Big Red Monster Kane is looking for revenge as he takes on the Viper, Randy Orton. The World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus takes on Daniel Bryan. The Big Show faces the cocky Cody Rhodes for the Intercontinental Championship.
Brock vs. Cena should be a good brawl. It’s not going to be much more than that. I wish WWE didn’t have Brock’s first opponent John Cena, maybe Orton or Punk would have been better. Especially after Cena just losing to The Rock, I doubt he’s going to beat Lesnar either. Like, how weak would Lesnar look if he lost to Cena after all he accomplished since leaving WWE 8 years ago? Sadly, if Lesnar lost to Cena, it wouldn’t be believable. The only possible way Cena can win this Sunday is if someone interfered and helped Cena. Predicted Winner – Brock Lesnar.
Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan will be interesting. This time they’ll get more than 18 seconds. It will be a 2 of 3 falls stipulation match. This will more than likely be the end match of their feud. I’m hoping Sheamus will win, he needs it way more than Bryan. I think Bryan is already over, fans just love him. As I said, Sheamus needs this. Sheamus to win 2-1 on the night.
Kane vs. Randy Orton. I just got to ask, what will these two men do next after this match? Who would they feud with? It looks like Alberto Del Rio will be in line to face Sheamus, who will presumingly beat Daniel Bryan, therefore they’ll probably feud. That’s why I pick Kane to win, so they can have another match at the next Pay-Per-View. If Orton won, then he won the last two, there would be no point if fighting again. This way, it keeps them continuing their feud.
Big Show vs. Cody Rhodes. I have not paid much attention to this sadly. I don’t think I want to see another match between these two if I’m being be honest. Cody seems to be ready for bigger things and move on. I’d have Cody lose to Big Show. It’s not like it would make Cody look weak if he lost to Big Show. I think Big Show should have the title for a couple of months and lose it to Ryback or someone. Somebody who is being built up like. So I predict Big Show to win.
The card itself isn’t that bad. However I’m not sure if I will be spending my money on it. It’s not because of boring feuds and stuff, it’s just I never pay for two Pay-Per-Views in a row. It’s not that I don’t have money for it, I wouldn’t get enough satisfaction out of it as a customer of WWE. At the end of the day, that’s what we are to WWE; customers. They want our money in their company.

I agree with all your picks for tonight. The crowd should be good. I did spend my money on this PPV because of the 3 main event matches. Bryan/Sheamus should be a great match. We’ve been waiting along time to see this. Punk/Jericho should be match of the night and the crowd should be up for it. Lesnar/Cena probably won’t be a good match due to Lesnar ring rust but I’m a fan of Lesnar so if he wins, I’ll be happy and its his first WWE match in 8 years.

It’s unusal we have to pay for two PPVs in a row, but as @Rookie_Year said on Twitter, it’s the Lesnar return people will probably pay for.
Yeah, the card is pretty good. But I don’t have the urge to pay for two PPVs in a row. It’s not that I’m not interested, because I really am. I’ll be able to watch it roughly this time tomorrow though. My cousin will buy it so I’ll go over to him, lol.

Who would have the urge when you can get it off your cousin for free? Makes sense.

lol true.
Also, I have WMR-Sports.net where I can watch it in great quality after the show is over. But I usually would buy a PPV if it’s booked well.

Cena and Lesnar is a shame. Lesnar can’t lose his ass kicker status but having Cena lose AGAIN can’t be good for business surely?
Happy to see Punk or Jericho win tonight. Punk has all the attitude that used to make me happy on a Saturday morning watching WWF and Jericho has never lost it.
Tbh I couldn’t really care less about DBry and Sheamus. The feud is getting a bit mundane. Would rather see DBry reign supreme if I had to choose.
Big show and Cody? I do believe I was sleeping through most of this! Rhodes is super talented and deserves a push.
Orton really needs to win end this feud. If the rumours about Summerslam are indeed true they need to start building the tension early on.
Beth needs to kill the Bella’s. And that’s all I have to say about that 🙂

I think with lesnar/Cena we have to look at the bigger picture. From what I see, Cena is on his road to a breakdown. I’m hoping Lesnar will finish him off andput him on the shelf for a few months. Let Cena recharge and he’ll be refreshed.

Even if Cena loses, a “job” will be involved. 😦

At least he’ll have a “job”(wresting job). Bad try at humor.

I’m sure this PPV will be great. I’m not getting it, cause I only get RR and WrestleMania, and sometimes EC, but other than those, I just get updates from spoiler sites.

Well I get the big 4 without thinking about them. Usually none of big 4 are let downs.

Limes. Until 28, the last WM I enjoyed was 23. The last SummerSlam, ’05 or ’06. I can’t remember the last SSeries I liked, and have ceased ordering it solely based on it being a Big Four. Royal Rumble has disappointed me for the last several years.
I swear, you and I have such different standards when it comes to wrestling. Good for the site, though.
Anyway, heard ER was great, so gonna check it out now. And if no one’s done a review by then….

Well people, I’m offline. I don’t know where the fuck other staff are, they seem to be active on twitter, it’s very strange they haven’t left their thoughts for a PPV, lol.
Anyway, not sure what time I’ll be on tomorrow. There’s a HUGE match that will occupy me for the best part of 3 hours, so I will be very active offline tomorrow. Will be on before RAW anyway.
Until then, adios!

Actually, my boss’s mother is in the office helping people do their resume. I hope to get one worked on soon and start to send it out to employers.
