According to The Wrestling Observer, Rey Mysterio jr tested positive for amphetamines, resulting in his second WWE Wellness Policy Suspension.

According to the report, the former 2-time World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio jr  was informed that he had to go right in for drug testing when he showed up to the WWE Monday Night Raw taping on February 13 in San Diego. The following week, Mr. Vincent Kennedy McMahon (WWE’s Chairman & Chief Executive Officer) was said to be upset with Rey Mysterio jr but at the time, nobody knew why.

Rey Mysterio jr couldn’t believe that he tested positive for amphetamines and says he has been living his life clean. WWE officials asked Rey Mysterio jr about medications he was taking and he was upfront about everything. A few days ago, officials called him and asked when he would be ready to return. Rey Mysterio jr had informed WWE that he could come back in June but was then told by the company that he would have to wait another month because he was being suspended for 60 days.

Rey Mysterio jr, who has been a WWE Heavyweight Champion with the company, apparently believes he failed the test because of medications he took. WWE obviously did not buy his story as they went public with the failure and suspension last week.

Rey Mysterio jr was scheduled to go to Japan in a few weeks to do promotional work for WWE but has been replaced by fellow Mexican superstar Alberto Del Rio from the WWE Friday Night SmackDown brand.

(Andy’s note: The spelling error of “Goodbye” aside, I personally didn’t realise that Nikki or Brie Bella knew that many words.  I am literally amazed.)
