Hello again and here is My Slant On The Wrestling World.

Real News….. (somewhat) comically done.

Jim Ross Returning to WWE Commentary

(via WrestleZone.com)

According to PWInsider.com, Jim Ross will be making his return to the WWE commentary booth as he is set to broadcast the debut episode of WWE NXT at Full Sail University this week. No word on whether or not Jim Ross will be calling the FCW Wrestling taping as well.

Big Andy G’s Note:

WWE finally puts Jim Ross on WWE NXT.  As a ColeMiner myself am happy to see this as Jim Ross won’t be on WWE Monday Night Raw or on the last show he was officially drafted to WWE Friday Night SmackDown.

WWE’s Latest 3 Disc Set

According to The Wrestling Observer, WWE will be releasing a three-disc Falls Count Anywhere DVD.

Big Andy G’s Note:

It maybe Falls Count Anywhere but it does not count if you download it illegally. So you cant use Torrents guys, no no, that is illegal and if you do #OtungaLaw will come down on your ass.

Top Star Injured At TNA Sacrifice PPV Last Night; Details

Via Twitter, @RealKurtAngle announced after TNA Sacrifice that he was injured and working through the pain backstage.

“I think Hardy, Roode, Aries, Daniels, Kaz, and me won!” Angle answered a tweet from a fan wanting to know who won all of the matches. Angle, incorrectly, said Hardy won. Mr. Anderson would go on to defeat Jeff Hardy with an awkward pinfall.

Following this tweet, Angle said, “I hurt knee. Gonna ice and go to sleep.”

Big Andy G’s Note:

Looks like Kurt has no idea what angle he is talking about.  “I hurt knee” what is he 7 years old?  Im still waiting to find out what “Top Star” is injured by the way, Kurt Angle has not been the TNA Impact Wrestling’s World Heavyweight Champion since August of last year.

Jonathan Coachman On How His WWE Past Affects Him At ESPN

Former WWE announcer Jonathan Coachman was recently interviewed by a Kansas media outlet about his past in WWE, and his current role as a news anchor for ESPN.

Jonathan Coachman talked about how having a past in WWE hurt his credibility early on at ESPN. “It really held me back for a while,” said Mr. Coachman in the interview. “There were certain people that were fearful of some negative backlash that they hired a guy best known for wrestling. It was frustrating. I knew where I should be, at and I knew where I wasn’t. But I also knew the reason.”

Big Andy G’s Note:

Jonathan Coachman said and I quote: “There were certain people that were fearful of some negative backlash that they hired a guy best known for wrestling. It was frustrating.” Since when was Jonathan Coachman known for his “wrestling”?  I am sorry to hear that you have found it difficult after WWE Coachman, It must be very difficult for you.

Incase you maybe interested, I found the last ever WCW produced WCW Monday Nitro earlier on YouTube, if you want to watch it, click here. Now that will definitely put “butts on some seats” eh?
