One stand out moment that occurred at last night’s Slammiversary was the induction of Sting into the TNA Hall of Fame. Sting has had a glorious Wrestling career and continues to lay his path on the Wrestling Mountain. This week is a Stinger version of “Remember When”.

Do you remember when Barry Windham impersonated Sting?

It was WCW 1990 at the Halloween Havoc PPV. Sting was defending the WCW World Title against Sid Vicious. During the course of the battle, the action spilled onto the floor. When both combatants entered back into the ring, a miscalculated bodyslam, on Sting’s part, caused him to fall back and Sid became the new WCW Champion…or so we thought.

It turns out the Sting that was pinned was actually an imposter and seconds later, the real Sting appeared, pinned Sid, and retained the World Title. It was later revealed the imposter Sting was played by Four Horseman counterpart, Barry Windham.

In my personal opinion, Windham does make a pretty good Sting. The hair, the makeup, and everything. At a quick glance, you could swear it was Sting. What do you guys think? Do you think Barry Windham makes a good Sting? What did you think about this week’s column? What do you think about Sting’s induction into the TNA Hall of Fame?
