The reports came out recently that WWE superstar Cameron (real name: Ariane Andrew) was arrested for DUI, however more details of the arrest were released this past Wednesday.
According to TMZ.com,
WWE superstar Cameron — a member of the Funkadactyls — allegedly offered police $10,000 to let her go after she was arrested for DUI last week … this according to police.
TMZ obtained the arrest report filed by police in Tampa Bay, Florida … which shows Cameron — real name Ariane Nicole Andrew — was arrested at 2:23 AM on Friday morning outside Tampa International Airport.
The report says Cameron blew a .20 … more than twice the legal limit in Florida.
After cops took her into custody, the report says Cameron offered one of the officers $10,000 to “let her go because she would lose her job.”
In the docs, cops say Cameron listed her employer as the WWE.
Cops say Cameron had a male passenger in the car … who told police the two had been drinking martinis before getting in the car.
Cameron was booked for DUI … but eventually released.
A rep for WWE … “Ariane [Cameron] did not alert us to this matter, we are investigating and will take appropriate action.”
Seth’s Opinion
I would be shocked if Cameron was not fired. WWE is trying to keep as good an image as it can and I don’t see any reason why they would keep Cameron after she was arrested. Although originally the reports said she did not list WWE as her employer, according to the documents she did and tried to bribe the cop not to tell her employer. Then again, there have been superstars arrested in the past (Santino Marella, Alex Riley, one of the Usos etc…) and they are still employed. After the amazing match that Naomi and Natalya put on recently, perhaps Naomi should be wrestling more and WWE should just hire two new Funkadactyls.
What do you think? How should WWE handle the situation? Should Noami start wrestling more? Should WWE choose new Funkadactyls?

“Funk is on Parole”
Anyway, I hope she’s released, the Funkasaurus thing evolves or Clay is released, and Naomi is pushed as a top talent in the Diva’s division.

That’s not a good reason for a release. I have heard some talk of giving him more of an edge.

The Funkadactyls aren’t an important asset to WWE so I would be shocked if she wasn’t released. You’re spot on about WWE and their image so there’s no way they will let her away with this IMO. I didn’t even know about this until now so cheers for the update buddy!

How stupid must you be to bribe the cops??? Lol. Honestly, if she had just come clean and not attempted the bribe, I think the company would’ve been sympathetic and let her off the hook (partially). All gloves are off now.

Her biggest problem wasn’t stupidity in bribing the cops, it’s that she has no power. Powerful people bribe the police all the time. Not to say what she did was right, but if she had been somebody like a mayor, we might not have even heard of it.
