Recently, we have seen Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara teaming up successfully. Rumors have been swirling about the two continuing to team up, however a more interesting rumor discusses a future match up. Therefore, one of the superstars would have to turn heel in order for that to happen.

According to F4Wonline.com via WrestleZone,

“As previously reported, the plans are for Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara to have a match at WrestleMania 29.

F4Wonline.com is reporting there have been discussions of turning one of them heel. The leading idea was for Mysterio to turn heel and help get momentum for Cara.

While it has been talked about, there are many who feel it would be a bad move to turn Mysterio heel.”

Seth’s Opinion

This is a very interesting situation. I personally would love to see Rey and Cara as tag champs. The tag team champions, Kofi and R Truth, are as stale as they come. Some may argue that the tag team division is getting better, but I don’t see it that way. Prime Time Players continue to be #1 contenders and the tag teams are still of poor quality. Rey and Sin Cara are an interesting pair and to have this storyline lead to a feud should be enjoyable to watch. In terms of Rey or Cara turning heel, I do think Rey would be the more interesting heel. Sin Cara’s lack of speaking English hurts his character so much. Whenever a top star turns heel, it usually leads to an interesting situation. I do understand those who think it is a bad idea. Mysterio’s fans are definitely the younger audience, but at this point in his career, I would enjoy it. What do you think? Should Rey and Sin Cara become tag team champions? Who should turn heel?
