Hello everyone and welcome to A RAW Opinion, I’m Joe and I’m here as always bringing you through the weeks episode of WWE Raw, while giving my own opinions throughout the show. Tonight’s show emanates from Dayton, Ohio and we are 24 hours removed from the Survivor Series, now I won’t get into it, but I will say, I LOVED the ending. I will say that this is one of the very few times I have been excited for a Raw telecast, and the first time in a long time.
We start the show off with Ryback coming out from the back and going to the ring, they’re giving Ryback promo time here tonight. Ryback said last night three men took food out of his mouth and he’s calling out Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns out to fight him 3 on 1 or he’ll tear the place apart looking for them. Vickie Guerrero comes out and tells Ryback he will not be tearing anything apart or else he’ll be subject to a fine or a suspension. Vickie books Ryback VS Tensai up now. Awesome…
Ryback VS Tensai in our opening match, Tensai gets some offense in which I was surprised about. Ryback kept saying CM Punks name throughout the match. After a couple of offensive moves Ryback takes control and hits Shellshock to pick up the win, boring match.
Up next, Wade Barrett takes on Kofi Kingston in a non title match. Good match between these two, Barrett gets a clean win over Kofi, nice to see it seems like they’re giving him somewhat of a push.
Kaitlyn VS Aksana up next. Kaitlyn gets the win in a quick match, I wish they would actually give her the divas title, I like her. Surprised that nothing happened after the match with Eve coming out or some kind of stare down.
R Truth is on commentary for our next match, Brodus Clay VS Antonio Cesaro is up next. Cesaro gets the win with The Neutralizer.
Vickie Guerrero comes out to the ring with two people, she says they’re apparently eye witnesses, she says one is a waitress at the hotel diner where AJ and Cena had their business dinner, the other is a parking attendant, AJ came out and says she’s had enough of Vickie coming out there week after week trying to create some kind of scandal. Cena comes out and says Vickie is full of crap, he then kisses AJ, this dumb thing goes on until Ziggler comes out and goes after Cena, he chases Ziggler from the ring, I’m confused about that segment, denying it the whole time and then all of a sudden a make out session? Alright…
Alberto Del Rio is out next for a match, his opponent is Randy Orton, this is a 2 out of 3 falls match. Del Rio gets disqualified in the first fall after destroying Ortons arm on the ring post. Del Rio takes the second fall after a cross arm breaker, Del Rio kept it locked in a little longer until he finally let go. Super Orton gets the win. Same shit, different week.
The Great Khali VS Primo and Epico, Hornswoggle comes out from the back with flowers before the match and stands at ringside. Hornswoggle walks over to Rosa with the flowers, he puckers up for a kiss, Rosa looks like she’s about to and the flowers squirt her with water, Khali wins, stupid.
The Miz VS David Otunga is up next. Miz gets the win, decent match. Otunga is getting a little better in the ring, he’s still not all that special. Miz seems over as a face, I still think he’s annoying though.
Sheamus is out next and he talks about last night and about how Big Show has been beating up Regal, blah blah blah, Big Show comes out next they go back and forth, Big Show says Sheamus doesn’t deserve another chance at the World Heavyweight Title, Damien Sandow comes out next and heads to the ring, apparently Sheamus VS Sandow is scheduled to happen next.
Sheamus VS Damien Sandow sees Sheamus get the win with the Brogue Kick after another good match, I still don’t like Sheamus as a face, I’d rather him a heel.
Backstage incident with AJ and Ziggler, Cena eventually was taken out after being kicked in the knee and sent through a prop bathroom stall.
And the hits just keep on coming, Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio in tag action up next, their opponents are Team Hell No in a non title match. Prime Time Players were on commentary for this, I was wrong, this was a very good tag match, ending kind of sucked though, Prime Time Players interfered, not sure the result since the ref rang the bell and no decision was announced.
Up next is CM Punks celebration for his 1 year anniversary of being WWE Champion. Ryback comes out from the back and interrupts, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose attack Ryback! Ryback is able to get past them for a second until the numbers game catches up, they put Ryback through the announce table again. The show goes off the air with CM Punk standing over Ryback with his arms in the air.
Overall, I thought it was a great show. The end was a predictable, but I didn’t mind seeing as I’m a HUGE fan of Rollins and Ambrose.
I give tonights show a 4/5. Great stuff, keeps me interested and excited for next weeks show, I can’t wait to see what they do with this group of Reigns, Rollins and Ambrose.
Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed it, leave comments and let me know what you thought about the show and the column.
Kinda liked that Ryback promo.

I’m just glad it was short lol.

He has an intiminating voice for promos.

Then your standards must be dumbed down. Ry-tard has NO charisma whatsoever. His talking is incoherent and makes no sense at all. He’s a cross between a toned down and boring warrior and even more boring goldberg. If this goof ever has to make his money on a mic he will go bankrupt. Give him the hook! The red hook!

Whoever got the idea that dancing and wrasssslin mixed needs to get slapped… again and again… Well poor lil johnny curtis will find out that dancing gimmicks don’t pay the bills. If he never gets a chance to put his dancing skills up against jericho or khali or brodus clay it won’t e too soon! Can I cut in? Sure fuckadagooo…

Striker is a feminine masochistic tv reporter. He is as womanly and frilly as they come. He even wanted to have sex with kofi after that match to ccelebrate kofi’s 16th intercontinental title reign! Woooooo! Yeahh he’s the 16 time, I said 16 time intercontinental champion! A worthless belt held by a useless wrestler! Striker tried to get radney orton to go back to him in the shower to cool wandy down after he got in that street fight with del rio a few weeks ago on smackdown. That “suggestion” pissed wandy orrrr-ton off so much he shoved striker’s face in a pie! Read strikeer’s lips lol. Oh well, at least that will the one time some kind of pie will cross matt’s lips in his lifetime 😛

Either Cena hurt himself or he couldn’t run with a stiffy.

Looked like he twisted his ankle chasing Ziggler.

Wandy orrr-ton runs with one all the time. It’s a slow motion run, but a run nonetheless 🙂

I always thought the two main bookers and creative team for wwe were Eugene and the mute version of Hornswoggle 😉

Not a bad Miz/Otunga match.

ahahaha (pauses)ahahahahah (pasues) ahahahahah There’s no such thing as a decent otunga match 🙂 It’s always the same thing, he gets 2 moves in, he poses. Then he slips and falls and the other guy does 20 moves to him and he stays flat on his back the rest of the match 🙂

Titus and King had me rolling! “Washrag?” Pay window?”

It’s funny because Titus didn’t know what the hell he was saying. He’s terrible on the mic.

I thought it was a good show. I’m not sure what was the point of having del Rio lose every match in this feud with Orton was. Titus O’Neill’s commentary was horrible. It would be great to see Rollins, Reigns and Ambrose join Punk and Heyman. AJ is a bit of a slag, Cena, Bryan, Punk and Kane in 7 months.

Because his name is (pause for dramatic effect) wobotic wandy orrrrr-tooon. And he is a no good smug heel (in the ring and out) hiding behind a stale lame bland generic cookie cutter jabrone boring face gimmick that never got over. The only ppl moving or making any noise are the kiddie poos and the sheep morons who cheer for the good guys all the time. He’s going to be heel soon and so is that piece of shit 3 moves of doom loser sheamus. he’s been heel for months cheating it up, running his yap and pissing off everyone who see right through is phony schtick. Now the real heel sheamus shines through, he’s not stealing cars and bullying people now is he? nah, he’s just lying, bragging and bullying referees. Go back to sesame street beaker you fucking piece of shit talentless jabrone! So there you have it miz swagger switches sides and his phonying it up as a face. Kofi midcarder will be changing sides soon too and become the heel he has also been for months when he was “being a wildcat” and cheapshotting guys, beating them up after matches and being heel aggressive on them in matches. He becomes full fledged heel within a few months. Fry-back, cry-back, ry-botch, ry-tard, ry-jabrone all the same hillybilly hornyakking talentless rvd/stone cold/goldberg ripoff… He’s going to be dmoted to jobber status soon too. Or released. Bye bye skippy/danny boy! There you have all of today’s wrassslin news and into the future. mark it down and take it to th e bank…>Oh and johnny boyscout cena is NOT turning heel anytime soon in case you wondered…

I wasn’t.

It wasn’t a bad show. I just felt as if the show was building all towards Punk’s celebration. Punk and Heyman’s mic work made that segment, but with the SAME attack by Rollins, Ambrose and Reigns (three guys with limitless potential) on Ryback as Survivor Series, there really wasn’t much progress.

I don’t like that name for some reason. Doesn’t quite make that “impact.”

True but names do tend to grow on people as we see it more and more.

True, I guess time will tell. I guess that would fit their Big Bossman-like attire.

Plus, they do act like a shield. Perhaps they could turn into an APA-style gimmick?

Perhaps. That’d be different. I still see Maddox thrown into this somehow.

I hope not. I think he was overexposed as the GM. That storyline should have ended a month sooner than it did.

I agree, Joe, very decent show. ”keeps me interested and excited for next weeks show” that’s all WWE need to do every week. That’s exactly what they did with SS and Raw.
Cena’s injury was funny to watch but I hope he recovers soon!
