Here’s part two of my TNA House Show experience.

My friend and I get to the arena a little early to get the tickets and passes. While we were waiting in line, my friend sees a car heading towards the other side of the arena. It turns the man in the car was Austin Aries, so my friend and I hall ass to the other side of the arena where the Wrestlers go. Believe it or not, we were the only ones there. He parks his car (Fun fact: Aries was listening to Spanish music) and when he gets out of the car, we start shouting positive feedback to the Greatest Man that Ever Lived. Aries was very friendly, responded to us, and when he got out of the car, that’s when more fans started showing up. When he was asked to sign some things and take pics, he said he’ll sign autographs and take pics inside for the meet and greet and that he has to finish his dinner. What I liked about that was that Aries was calm and friendly about it. He could’ve been a douche and ignored us but he didn’t.

We head back to the other side of the arena, the rest of our party shows up, and we get in for the meet and greet. Before the meet and greet, I buy this special for $30. For that much I got 4 DVDs, an action figure, a TNA shirt, and a program. I took the program to the meet and greet where I got it signed by James Storm, ODB (who’s very attractive in person I don’t care what any of you all say), Austin Aries, Daniels, Tara, Chavo Guerrero, and Hernandez, and Mr. Anderson…Anderson. Now on to the show.

It starts off with Christy Hemme singing the National Anthem and we go right to the matches.

Match #1- Christopher Daniels vs. AJ Styles- So the show kicks off to an immediate hot start. Daniels grabs the mic and portrays himself as a ladies man. It was funny hearing AJ trying to pronounce “Pendejo” (which is Spanish for idiot). The match was great with AJ winning with a Styles Clash.

Match #2- Tara vs. ODB for the Knockouts Title- It starts off with a technical problem. For some reason ODB’s music didn’t hit on cue so she came out without music. One of my favorite moments from this match was when referee Brian Hebner tried to break them apart, he ended touching their boobs. Tara swiped his hand off immediately but ODB grabbed his other hand and made him felt her up with much to the delight of Hebner (lucky bastard). Tara retained with a Widow’s Peak.

Match #3- Mr. Anderson vs. Bully Ray- One of my favorite moments from this match was Anderson complaining about not having a mic dropped down to him so he had to use Hemme’s mic. Bully Ray wins with the Bully Cutter.

Match #4- Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez vs. Aces and Eights for the TNA Tag Titles- Chavo took the mic and talked about the first Wrestling event (which was a Smackdown House Show) that took place in that arena. A loud “EDDIE” chant soon followed. A scary moment happened in this match. Hernandez went for a top rope plancha but his foot caught the rope and he went head first on the floor. There are no words to describe the look on Christy’s face when Hernandez landed. Thankfully he managed to finish the match on walk out on his own. Chavo and Hernandez retained with a Guerrero Frog Splash.

Match #5- James Storm vs. Bobby Roode- Right before the match, Earl Hebner was announced for the referee. There was a loud “You Screwed Bret!” chant, to which Earl took off his ref shirt to reveal another shirt that said “Damn Right I did!”. He then got some Hitman shades and mocked Bret in front of the crowd. During the match, there was this guy sitting next to us chanting “ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODE!” throughout the match. That’s all he said. Storm won with the Last Call. After Storm won, the “ROOOOODE” guy almost cried because Roode didn’t win.

Main Event- Jeff Hardy vs. Austin Aries for the TNA World Title- During the match, Aries took the mic and insulted the fans. He even insulted a fan wearing a CM Punk shirt saying “Take off that CM Punk crap!” There was no Brainbuster, Suicide Dive, or Swanton but it was a great match just the same. Hardy retains with a Twist of Fate.

After the show it was announced for only $20, a single person or a group can get a pic with Hardy in the ring. My group and I jumped at this and got a pic with him in the ring. The best part was I got to hold the World Title!

Later in the night we went out to eat when who do you think shows up…none other than Hebners themselves. My friend and I complimented them on the show and got them to sign our programs. Earl even mentioned having a PPV or an Impact taping down here which would be awesome.

Overall it was a great experience and can’t wait for them to come back. I’ll take what I went through that night over any WWE House Show any day!
