Perhaps the IWC’s most spurned ‘wrestler’, Hulk Hogan was recently interviewed by the UK’s Guardian website as part of a “Celebrity Christmas Wish Lists” feature. Here’s what’s on Hogan’s wish list, including some interesting comments about wanting to not only wrestle again – but to also be TNA World champion:
Thirty years of life: I want my youth back. I wouldn’t change anything, though. I’d wrestle all over again. The same matches.
747 jet – I would like my own private jet plane again. I’d take all the wrestlers with me on the plane. I don’t just want a little Learjet, I want a 747. That would be a wild plane.
Knee surgery – I’ve had eight back surgeries, I’ve had knee replacements, I’ve had both hip replacements. I only need one more surgery – to fix my right knee – then I’m going to go for the TNA world title. I want to be 59 years old and be the champion.
Hair – I want a full head of hair.
Now it’s no secret that I’m not the biggest fan of Hulk Hogan and I’m not your typical ”Let’s all hate Hogan” kind of guy. I do respect what he’s done for the wrestling business back in the 80’s. I don’t think he deserves the amount of credit he receives because there’s guys like Lou Thesz, Gorgeous George and even Stone Cold who deserve just as much, or even more credit for the popularity wrestling has risen to over the last hundred years. The problem with Hulk Hogan is that he has a big ego. The guy keeps saying TNA is ”on the up” and it’s changing and progressing all the time, but it’s not! Nothing ‘that good’ has changed since he took over. The product isn’t that much better. It has improved a little bit but that’s down to Dave Lagana in my opinion. The ratings have gone down since his arrival. He debuted January 4th, 2010, the rating for that show was 1.4…now the ratings barely make it past the 1.0 mark. He’s frequently featured on TV and at the center of storylines. It would be much better for TNA to push up and coming talent, or give someone like James Storm, Bobby Roode more time on TV! Now he wants to be TNA world champion?? For the love of god brother, please just stay away from the TNA world title and get off my TV screen. Hogan also claims ”Impact Wrestling is his home” and he wants to help the company grow, I have no doubt you can help but having your massive ego wasting VALUABLE on-screen time is NOT the way to go…brother. I’m sorry but the day you become TNA world champion is the day I stop watching Impact Wrestling. I’m not the only one who feels this. Let me know how you feel!

This is such a bad idea. The guy is 59 and can barely move. Someone in TNA needs to step in and say no to Hogan. TNA could become WCW 2.0.

That’s what we all fear. Like as I said before, I want TNA to do well. I think all wrestling fans do and that’s why I’m complaining about Hogan, he’s damaging a good product.

TNA has very good wrestling but their storylines and their booking of matches has been poor and will get worse if Hogan becomes champion.

That’s my biggest problem with TNA. Aces and Eights is the perfect example of having a great idea and then fucking it up. It’s been what, 8 months? And no revelations or very little has been actually done with it. It’s just a drag to watch and down right ridiculous. Anyway, I’m off to bed now, I’m wrecked. I’ll reply to anymore comments etc.. tomorrow.

That storyline has gone cold. Hogan has seemingly forgot Aces & Eights even exist. Plus Garett Bischoff is in the group so this storyline is destined for failure.

Garrett is only there because of his name and that’s a fact, He’s not interesting at all to me. I didn’t mind when they brought him in for the storyline with Eric, but giving him a full time contract is absurd.

Brother!
In all honesty, no matter the crap he does, if he were to show up on RAW, I’d mark the fuck out!

If he turned up on Raw, I’d turn off the TV.

You wouldn’t be alone, but you’d be in the minority.

I read that the tweet was a joke and he wasn’t being serious. He also wrote he wants a full head of hair and his youth back. He was listing dream things he can never have, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t want them. Of course Hogan would love to be champion again, but that doesn’t mean it’s gonna happen.
