WWE Hall of Famer, Ric Flair, was scheduled and scripted to be on tonight’s Raw from Philadelphia, however, he reportedly did not look healthy backstage and on the advise of WWE doctors was sent to a local Philly hospital where he is believed to have been diagnosed with a “blood clot.” Flair did not wrestle on a recent All Japan show due to a blood clot in his leg. Reports are he has since left Philadelphia for a hospital in Charlotte, closer to home and will not appear on tonight’s Raw broadcast as originally planned.
Ray’s Opinion
Well this sure sucks. Blood clots can be serious, especially if it leads to the brain which can cause brain damage. As far as I know anyway. Basically, if that happened, it would be a stroke but I guess its too early for them to tell. I was looking forward to seeing him on RAW tonight. Hopefully it isn’t serious and he recovers soon. Get well soon Flair!

Agreed! I was looking forward to him being on Raw tonight. Blood clots can be dangerous but hopefully this isn’t a serious one. Thanks for your comment! 🙂

I think he came back at a show in Philly a few months ago. My friend and I were going to go. We’re going to Wrestlemania this year though so as long as he’s better before then. It’s also cool to at least say you were in the same building as these legends.

Yeah agreed. As much as I dislike Hogan, I’d love to see him. BTW I extended my opinion on the post and tried to update what the blood clot means.

Agreed on Hogan. He was the whole reason I got into wrestling when I was a little kid. It’s the same with a lot of celebrities.
Thanks for updating! Keep us posted.

Stop being selfish. Awww I wanted to see him so bad and it’s a shame! You have no conception of how serious blood clots truly are. My father had numerous ones that led to a few strokes/brain hemmorhages. His life was destroyed, he was barely able to walk. He rehabbed himself but then they happened again. The poor man eventually died of lung cancer. Start feeling the mortality and humanity. Stop thinking of yourself as a selfish dumb ass wrasslin fan…

I know how serious they can be and I did state that above. However, I know people who also had blood clots and are perfectly fine now. I am being moral and human, all I said was I loved seeing him on Raw which is why I wanted to see him. In what part am I being selfish? Honestly, I’m the last person I think of. I did wish him to get well. I don’t see what your point is.

Doesn’t seem like a life threatening situation. I’m sure he will released from the hospital soon.
